THE “NO PARKING” TEE – SOLD OUT

Couldn’t have been happier with how this project turned out. The shirts out of the package have a longer torso fit, so I personally recommend cropping the bottom for a boxier fit. These bus shots are my favorite of the whole campaign. Shot on the 122 Circulator (the bus I would ride every day in 2024). All the models killed it. So special to see folks engage with the vision in the way this crew did. June deserves a medal after all she did for this project.

Probably never gonna reprint this design, so get these while you can. Thank you again to @lucky7screenprinting for your haste and attention to detail. I recommend Brian and his services 1000 times over. See you guys soon, we got a big one coming up just you wait eek!

The “No Parking” Tee – SOLD OUT on Stargazerbyc3.com

I have always really admired street signs and the beauty of signage. The need for clear communication and visuals and how that informs the aesthetics of a space is really fascinating to me and was a major inspiration on STARGAZER. I love the “no” signs specifically. No parking, no turn, no crossing, all of it. When I was drafting up the graphics for the show advertisements in 24, I did about 20 different sign based designs. We ended up going with the bus stop poster for the final (I love public transit) but there were quite a few “anti” signs that made the final five. Glad that I could find a way for my favorite anti sign to still find its way into the world.

I don’t love to do prints of my work for purchase, I feel like it makes the piece feel stale (that is a problem for another day), which is I think why I like these shirts so much. Sure, they are a print in many ways, but they can be lived in, worn out, and given to friends. That is what the gallery is all about, creating a vehicle for connection and sharing art with those you love.

Buy yours for $25 August 2nd at Noon CST

The “No Parking” Tee – SOLD OUT on Stargazerbyc3.com

For the 2 year anniversary of STARGAZER, I wanted to do a limited run of shirts we had designed for the original exhibit that never made it to production. A real love letter to life in Minneapolis in 2024, this shirt is made to be worn on the bus, in the studio, to the bodega, and anywhere else life may take you. This one is really special to me, printed locally by @lucky7screenprinting on a heavyweight 100% cotton tee, modelled by friends and old students, it’s the perfect shirt for the perfect time.

Buy yours for $25 August 2nd at Noon CST. Crop it, Cut it up, run a mile in it. Whatever you do, just send over a picture to us. Thank you for 2 years of support for our gallery projects. I can’t wait to show you what we have in store for you next ;)
