💖🍰HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAVANNA🍰💖

Happy Birthday to our wonderful girl Savanna, we can’t believe you’re turning 23 today (you’re getting up there, woof) 🎈!! Savanna is alwaysssss talking to us about her new fave reality show (love island people to the front), and keeping us up to date on all things Chipotle 🌯(honey chicken we miss you every day). We love seeing what she will create everyday, she is always doing some super funky and creative nails for her clients, not that you would know though because she alwaysssss forgets to take pictures 🙄. She is such a professional, but you really see her true colors when she’s working on a coworker—we may walk away with a few bruises but our nails always look amazing 💅🏻. Don’t you worry, you might think we’re being tough on her but she always gives it back 1000x worse to us 😮‍💨.

To know Savanna is to know how much she loves and cares for everyone around her. She makes every person feel special in their own way, and will think of every little detail to make each experience special ✨. Savanna has a big heart, and gives her all to every project that crosses her desk 💡. We are so grateful to see the journey she has gone through the last few years, not just with nails but herself as well 🙂‍↕️. We could go on forever about how considerate, funny, congenial, detail-oriented, charismatic, and smart Savanna is…but we would be here forever 🩷.

Savanna, we hope you have the best day ever, and get every single thing you wish for today. We are sending all of our love to you, Happy Birthday Savanna!!🎂💖🎉🎀

🎂🕸️ HAPPY BIRTHDAY HELEN! 🕸️🎂

Our next birthday is Helen, who is turning 32 this year! 👻✨
Helen is our resident teacher, and while making sure we are always above board and dealing with our shenanigans, she still somehow finds time to have the prettiest nails 💅, touches up her hair whenever she has a free second, and making sure everyone around her feels their best!
As a cosmetology teacher, she’s not only passionate about beauty, but she is inspiring the next generation too ✂️. When she’s not working her magic, she loves making memories with her stepkids and her fiancé, Jerry 🖤. If you know Helen, then you know if there’s anything spooky, creepy, or Halloween-related involved, you KNOW she’s there for it 🎃🖤👻

Here’s to another year of love, laughter, funky nails, perfect hair, spooky vibes, and keeping all of us in line. Happy 32nd Birthday Helen, we’re sending all of our love to you!! 🖤🎉🥳

🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE 🎉

Happy 26th birthday to our virgo queen Katie! The ringleader of all The Hive misfits, the plant enrichment coordinator, the cracker of jokes (hardly know her), and our very own in-house weeb - she does it all. When she’s not wrangling the girls at The Hive, shes developing a new vocal stim. You’ll often hear her coming down the hall with a “BELLO” or “OH” if she’s not already pretending to suck the smell of someone’s burp into her own mouth (if you’ve seen her do this, you’ll understand).

Don’t let her sweet demeanor at the front desk fool you, she gets whacky as soon as yall turn the corner in the salon. One second she’s booking your appt, next she’s threatening the card reader and its entire family if it freezes one more time.

Honestly she is a major lifeblood of the salon. Without her, the organized chaos you see each day here would be just plain chaos. She always knows how to lighten the mood and lend an ear to anyone having a rough day. She keeps the entire staff on time and knows when/where everyone needs to be from 9-7pm. After that, she’s caring for her babygirl Mochi and cherishing Hozier.

They broke the mold with this one. Thankfully she was born on a nice even year like 2000 so she’ll never forget how old she is. Thank you for all you do Katie - if yall see her in the next few weeks, be sure to remind her that her frontal lobe is almost done developing!!!

✨NOW INTRODUCING…✨

It is our pleasure to introduce our newest addition to the nail department, Megan! She has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2007, spending almost a decade doing hair before getting into cosmetic tattooing in 2016. Now Megan is taking the industry by storm ⛈️, and has fallen in love with all things nails! 💅🏻
She specializes in structured gel manicures and rad nail art! If you’re looking for anything celestial, y2k, or nature themed she is your gal 🌿🌙.
Megan is our resident Taurus, a plant lover (and also killer, whoopsies!), neurodivergent queer girly who loves her partner and their three dogs Atlas, Bear, and Liv! When she’s not here making nail magic, you can find her doing hot yoga or being a professional couch gremlin (there is no in between). Megan is super passionate about making people feel beautiful and genuinely connecting with any human that sits in her chair 💖! Make sure you grab her an iced salted caramel oat milk latte from @dripcoffeeco570 before you pay her a visit!

🩷HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH🩷

Boy oh boy oh boy, where do we even begin with this one…
We’re at Pisces ♓️ birthday 3/3 here at The Hive, and this one might as well be a holiday.
Sarah Lynne Perrego is turning 29 today, and we (Katie) look forward to this post every. single. year. 🙂‍↕️

Sarah is one of the craziest people we have ever met 🫨. Now before you say anything, we couldn’t mean that in a more loving way!!! She has the most “out there” ideas that she will present to someone, and by the end of the conversation you will be thinking to yourself “Well shit, if anyone can do it, Sarah can”🫡. She sees the world in a much different way than most people do, and we are so lucky to witness all the wonderful and inspiring things that she does and creates💖. Whether it’s business ventures, seeing her favorite band 19 times (like cmon), hitting every estate sale in NEPA, or fitting a dozen side quests into one day — Sarah is taking care of BIDNESS (while also playin’ on her phone)📱.

Sarah has a light that she carries with her everywhere she goes. To know her is to cherish her, and in cherishing her it is like being loved by the sun 🌞. She is a blazing, radiant, intense, dazzling woman, and we couldn’t be more thankful to know her in every stage of life✨. Watching her turn into this resilient and talented woman AND business owner has kept us inspired with each new day and each new project that comes through our doors. 💆🏻‍♀️

NOW, with all of that being said….she is still one of the biggest clowns 🤡 we have ever met. We love to keep her humble around these parts, like using all these lovely pictures of the back of her head (no because why does it always look like that), and reminding her how much of a fool she is. We love her and all of her quirks, and we can’t wait to see what this year could possibly hold for someone who lives louder than life ❤️‍🔥.

Happy Birthday Sarah💕💃🏻🪩!!!! We hope 29 is an unforgettable year, and we can’t wait to be along for the ride 🎉. We are sending all of our love to you, and we hope you have the best day ever!! ♥️🎂

🎊HAPPY DIRTY 30 JON🎊

Happy 30th Birthday to our second Pisces of the season, Jon! ♓🎉
Not only is he our only man in the salon, but he’s also the brawn behind most of the construction projects (because otherwise we are hanging everything up with thumbtacks…#girlconstruction ), the fixer of every IT problem we like to throw his way, and the one who we love to bully the most. Basically… if something breaks, glitches, or if we need to bully a man for fun — Jon’s our guy 🫶🏻🔨.

Today he’s doing something for himself for once, and celebrating the big 3️⃣0️⃣ with a little self-care. After everything he does to keep the salon running smoothly and to keep all of us happy, he’s DEFINITELY earned it 🙂‍↕️.

Jon is one of the hardest workers we know, and somehow he keeps getting funnier with age. We’re pretty sure turning 30 officially marks the start of his ✨old man meme era✨, and honestly…we don’t know how to feel about it yet. He is truly one of a kind, and we are so grateful to know him in every stage of life. ♥️

Happy Birthday, Jon 🎂🥳! We appreciate everything you do for us more than you know. We are sending all of our love to you, and we can’t wait to see what 30 brings!! 🖤🎂🎸
