So Blessed💛🖤

Well… that’s officially a wrap on 10 years of gymnastics. Gymnastics has been one of the biggest parts of my life. It taught me discipline, confidence, and how to keep pushing even when my body says “girl, sit down”. I’ve learned how to fall (a lot), get back up, and laugh through it. This sport shaped me into someone who doesn’t quit (unless I really can’t do it, then I’ll try again tomorrow😭). It’s been a journey full of chalk (that’s probably all in my lungs), bruises, and memories I’ll never forget.

To my teammates: You guys have been my second family we’ve laughed, cried, screamed, and survived hard conditioning together (emphasis on HARD). You made every long practice and early mornings worth it. I’ll miss joking around, hyping each other up and going out to eat together. I couldn’t have done any of this without y’all. I love you guys❤️

To my friends: Thank you for cheering me on even when you had no idea what skills I was talking about😭. You’ve been there through every meet, every “I can’t walk up the stairs, my legs hurt” moment and every time I said, “I can’t hang out, I have practice” you kept me laughing when things got stressful and I love y’all for that🩷

To my coaches: Thank you for pushing me and believing in me. Over the years, I’ve gotten closer to some of you in ways I’ll always be grateful for, whether it was extra help, pep talks, or just understand me as a person and not just an athlete. Y’all taught me how to be strong, and how to keep going when things got hard. I’ll always be thankful for everything y’all had done for me and I’ll carry every piece of advice with me into my next chapter!

To my parents: Thank you for driving me to and from practice when I didn’t have my license, for showing up to every meet and for supporting me even when I was stressed or dramatic. You’ve been my biggest supporters since day 1, and I couldn’t have done any of this without y’all. I Love you guys so much💕

Now it’s time to say goodbye to gymnastics and hello to acro and tumbling. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and that I made it to the end. PERIOD😛
