QUICK JAUNT TO NC to see our girls in their new habitats. Shared the Biltmore gardens and Asheville area with Grammy. Then explored Pinehurst where Ken treated us to a night in the Holly Inn, the original golf resort from 1895. Such a joy to see everyone thriving in their new digs. Never enough time and already counting down to our next visit.

3RD TRIP TO NC THIS YEAR! This time, we hit the mountains near Asheville where the number of breweries rivaled Colorado. Stunning scenery with oodles of waterfalls, trails, and vistas. Checked out the Carl Sandberg farm, the Biltmore Estate, and a pinball museum. We loved Brevard, which is a mountain biking Mecca and also home to white squirrels (weird). Best of all, we caught some precious time with Kennedy. Always a gift when we can all be together. #springbreak2026 #mountainpeople #familytime❤️

❤️ Thanksgiving vacay in North Carolina. Always grateful for the precious time we have together as a family, but sunny weather, sandy beaches, golf, daily walks around the lake, shopping, card games, and lots of food made it even better. The quaint Pinehurst community is right out of a Hallmark movie, and checking out the new World Golf Hall of Fame and Museum was a fun diversion. Counting the days until we go back!

70 YEARS YOUNG! Celebrated mom’s birthday with oodles of her family and friends. So fun catching up with everyone and honoring this amazing woman in all her glory. She’s tiny but mighty—an independent dame,
With grit in her soul and pride in her name.
So raise up your glasses, your hearts, and your cheer—
Happy Birthday, dear Diney—Happy 70th year!
