I’ve been dreading making this post and realizing that it’s all actually over.

This sport has given me everything and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you to my little freshies who i’m so excited to watch grow into amazing athletes and young women, thank you to the girls who started this sport with me, thank you to my fellow seniors who got me through college, thank you to my coaches for helping me grow not only as an athlete but as a person, and thank you to my family for the endless support. Thank you team 2 for being such an amazing final season.

Thank you Missouri State!
Thank you for bringing me the best people I could have ever asked for to work with for the last two years, thank you to the teams who showed me how much I love coaching. You all have taught me so much about myself, not only as a coach but as a person! Once a bear always a bear 🐻

goodbye athletics?
… where do i even begin.

12 years of gymnastics, 2 years of middle school cheer, 4 years of high school cheer, 1 year of college cheer, 2 years of college STUNT, one crazy surgery, and an even bigger comeback… and I wouldn’t take a single second of it back.

For so long, athletics was more than just sports—it was my second home, my safe place, my challenge, and such a huge part of who I am. It gave me discipline, strength, resilience, unforgettable memories, and lessons I’ll carry forever. It taught me how to push through pain, trust the process, get back up when I fell, and keep going even when things got hard.

To my parents—thank you will never be enough. Thank you for every early morning, late night, ride, sacrifice, doctor’s appointment, tear, win, loss, and every moment in between. Thank you for believing in me, pushing me, and loving me through every high and low. None of this would’ve been possible without you.

To every coach who shaped me—thank you for every correction, pep talk, challenge, and belief you poured into me. You helped shape me into not only the athlete I became, but the person I am today.

It’s so hard to say goodbye to something that has been such a big part of my life, but while this chapter is ending, what athletics gave me never will. The grit, passion, memories, scars, strength, and love for this journey will stay with me forever.

I’m walking away with a full heart, endless gratitude, and so much pride for the girl who never stopped showing up.

This isn’t just goodbye… it’s thank you.

God is Good and I am forever grateful. ā¤ļø
