It’s hard to put into words what softball means to me.

What started off as living at the diamond watching dad play, turned into a dream that one day it would be me. Softball carried me through my childhood and gave me a dream to play at the next level. Somehow, that dream led me 17 hours away from home, to a different country to take a chance on myself and everything I had worked for.

Softball didn’t just teach me how to play, it taught me to work hard for what I wanted, how to prove people wrong, and how to show up even when it’s hard. It shaped who I am. It showed me what it means to work for something you love. More than anything, it gave me my people. Teammates who became family, and memories I’ll carry with me forever.

Saying goodbye isn’t easy. I’m not sure it will ever feel normal, but I’m beyond grateful for every lesson, every challenge, and every person this journey brought into my life.

Thank you for everything. 🤍
