![Today marks the 10 year anniversary of One Direction. I am SO grateful to get to grow up in the era of One Direction. I wouldn't be the person I am today if I didn't spend hours watching their video diaries then it all sprialing from there. And as important as the boys are to to me, it's also the friends I've made, the songs that carry memories, the ups and downs of the 1D fandom, the yearly album leaks, the concerts streamed via potatoes that everyone would watch just to feel something, staying up all night to catch an interview in a different timezone than your own, finding out Zayn left on your 18th birthday (still love u zayn 😘), constantly being on twitter to make sure you didn't miss anything, the inside jokes that only other directioners would get, the voting in polls, staying up all night so you didn’t miss anything, spamming a hashtag and even spending 5 days in your hometown trying to track them down before their show. Every moment is a huge part of me and I wouldn't change any of it for the world. Thank you 1D for being the better part of me.

![𝘚𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝟸𝟶𝟷𝟷-- I was in grade 9 and someone mentioned this british boy band who were starting to make headlines in North America. This band had just released their first single and music video a few weeks prior and lucky me, someone had bought the music video on itunes and played it on their ipod touch. It was the 'What Makes You Beautiful' music video and that day started it all...
