Pierced……

When people hear the name Pierce, they might think of actors, or Hall of Fame athletes. But when I hear the name Pierce, I reflect back to 21 years ago when I met the amazing @kennylu in rehearsal for my first tour with @pjmorton. His sense of humor had me in awe. Every word that came out of his mouth was hilarious. Some people leave an impression, but he had a way of piercing my heart, his kindness, generosity, and genuine love for people have pierced my heart and the hearts of so many others. As a husband he displays true love. As a father, he has developed some extremely talented young men. As a barber, he has mastered the art of helping people look their best. With every cut, he does more than shape up hair, he helps shape confidence. As a gifted singer, his voice pierces through every room, touching souls and lifting spirits. Whether behind the chair, behind the microphone, or simply showing up for the people he loves, he leaves a lasting mark. I celebrate you today Brother Pierce, your friendship has been a constant blessing. You are appreciated. May this year bring you endless joy, favor, success, love, and pickled pig lips. 🤪Happy Birthday my brother, keep making your parents smile. ❤️ God bless! ✌🏽

Started my day at 5 AM and didn’t stop till after dark — but every minute was worth it 🎭✨
Today I had the honor of doing theater makeup for the Civil Rights play — transforming one actor into Emmett Till and another into an older Jane Pittman/Harriet Tubman-inspired character.
The artistry. The history. The emotion. It all came together so beautifully.

Some days my own talent still blows my mind — God is truly amazing and I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity 🙌🏽

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to the one who holds my heart!! I love the relationship you have with our sons…you allow them to be adults, while correcting, advising, & listening to them. Your relationship with them has evolved where y’all laugh, joke, and cut up as friends…but they respect and honor you as Father!!! THANK YOU for being OUR priest, protector, and provider!! I honor you, and Love you, Always!!! I hope you enjoy your day!! @kennylu 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

What is Love??

Love is an Action. Love is talking with your lover and not at them. Love is being you 100% of the time with your spouse and instead of judging them they love it. Love is family. Love is Shanetta and Kenneth!! Happy Love Anniversary. Thank you for showing us what loves look like, what loves feel like and what it takes to make a marriage works. It’s not always pretty yet you 2 make it BEAUTIFUL 🖤. A perfect example of Black Love 🖤 Mr&Mrs PIERCE🖤😍

Happy Birthday to my incredible spiritual father, @bryanjpiercesr! Today, we celebrate not just your life but the impact you’ve had on so many, including me. Thank you for being a constant example of Godly manhood, for showing up in every season – the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Your strength, wisdom, and unwavering support have shaped my journey in ways words can’t fully capture. I pray this year brings you joy, fulfillment, and blessings beyond measure. We don’t play family – we ARE family! Here’s to you, a remarkable day, and an even greater year ahead!
