Getting to live out my dreams and support the music community through my work fills my heart, but getting to do it at the #GRAMMYs with the people I love is truly awesome! 🏆

Quick story about meeting @pasqualerotella at my first @hardfest 🏖️

To me this was the start. I grew up watching EDC live sets on YouTube. I always wanted to be on stage, and in 2019 I found a way to work at Insomniac at the tickets will call. When I was off, I met up with @kennytranman and we went to see @kayzomusic AND @rlgrime
I was completely sober that night and something told me to go to the rail to rest. I was so tired from my shift, I wanted to just hold on to something x). Then I noticed him. Pasquale was with his crew in the middle of the crowd. I called him over and HE CAME!! This was our convo:

Me: Pasquale!! Thanks for coming over and thank you so much for what you’ve done for the scene. Congrats on an amazing hard summer, this is awesome😁
P: thank you!! Hope you have a good night😎
Me: can’t we get a picture with my friend and I??
*we take picture*
*right after picture i put my arm around him*
Me: Pasquale, before you go. I have to make you a promise.
I promise to one day play on one of your stages. I’ve always wanted to be a DJ and I’ve been attending your events for so long, I want to give people a good time. This is my life. 😇
P: You got this buddy, I believe in you. “One day”.

*he hugs me and walks off*

Man. Sometimes when I’m tired, and I can’t make another beat, I remember moments like this and push harder. That “one day” was my first tattoo. It’s on my left wrist. You guys. This is my life. It’s going to take 5, 10 years maybe even longer, but if I’ve learned anything in life…”good things take time”.

If you got this far. Ily. Im never going to stop. This is for my family in Peru and my people in San Diego. We’re just getting started and we’ve got a long way to go ❤️

Downtown SD I missed you, thank you @novasdclub ❤️

It was fun playing my first @insomniacevents - I am beyond grateful.

This year is all about becoming a producer and developing the man I always needed. One step closer to the mainstage, one goal accomplished.

Thank you to my friends who came to support me and thank you to everyone who commented on my previous post, I love you all 🥰
