✨Full Circle Moment✨

You may know her as Ms. Jalaya, IM High School Program Coordinator, but did you know she started out as an IM student? Jalaya joined IM her senior year of high school. Yesterday, 13 years later, she gave the keynote address to high school seniors from Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties about her journey at the Marion G. Resch Foundation Summit.

After graduating high school, Jalaya attended Thiel College, with enough scholarship money to cover her college career. She graduated with degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology in 2016. Ms. Jalaya worked the first IM Summer Program in 2012 and hasn’t missed a summer since. From K-8 Instructor, to High School Instructor, and now, High School Program Coordinator, Jalaya credits IM for helping her grow and find her passion for inspiring the next generation.

🎓 Senior year is an exciting time! Our seniors are hard at work—preparing resumes, researching colleges and careers, and submitting applications. Huge thanks to Kent State Trumbull for helping our students with resume building and valuable college guidance. With so much dedication and support, their futures are just as bright as they are! We can’t wait to see all they accomplish this year and beyond.
