Had the pleasure of being @ekko.ffori ‘s curatorial partner for his exhibition under the @goetheinstitut_nairobi residency.

Kafui is an all rounded creative producer working in many many MANY creative fields from music, film, writing, audio and artist management - really holding it down for Ghana!🇬🇭

As someone that resonates with the ups and downs of his journey as a multidisciplinary producer (which he shared so beautifully and honestly) it was so special working with him to showcase the different facets of his work. You just had to be there ✨

Mad respect for you @ekko.ffori and proud of us for a successful and inspiring project 🫶🏽

Fadhilee’s music draws deeply from OMUTIBO—a driving, syncopated Kenyan guitar style of the Luhya people from Western Kenya. Expect a rich melange of Acoustic Folk, Reggae, Jazz, Pop/Dance, and World Music, grounded in culture, community, and care for the environment.

Influenced by legends like George Mukabi, Oliver Mtukudzi, Habib Koité, Ayub Ogada, Bob Marley, and Richard Bona, Fadhilee brings a vibrant roots sound to the stage:

I have drafts from SO many set ups and experiences that I’m yet to share💀, working on editing and putting them out more and more :)❤️

Today, we take a look at the set up for @chrisbarr.001 ‘s ‘The Quiet Room’ at @thesagedelicacy which happened in June. Really enjoyed this one; from conceptualising it together to bringing to life 🫶🏽

Working with artists I rate and respect as people is always such a joy! I hope y’all know @chrisbarr.001 really wanted his attendees to have the most magical, all rounded sensory experience; and I believe we delivered just that ✨

S/o to my handiman James for his amazing work as usual, and to my sweet @ashley.starrr for helping out and recording content. It gets really difficult ‘documenting the process’ when I’m in the thick of it (which is often all the time lol) so I’m grateful that she captured these for me otherwise this reel wouldn’t exist 😂🫶🏽

Pre-show, Pt. 3: Had a little chat with @laura.atieno_ before the show..

Here are a few of my thoughts on the work that went into #WozaaWorld2, what it meant to us, and the excitement (and nerves 😅) of finally seeing it all come together..

We're really grateful to @watendawili for continuing to trust us to bring another Wozaa World edition to life. It’s been such a pleasure collaborating with you again; we're excited to see what we come up with next.. Wozaaa! 👐🏾

To @iam_zaituni, @_keteh, @yah_listen & @dj.sunniehoney: thank you for sharing your artistry with us. You brought the house downnn; mlibamba fr! 🫶🏾🔥

And to everyone who pulled up: thank you! For buying the tickets, showing up, singing, dancing, hanging out and giving every artist their love. We hope you had as good a time as we diddd..

A huge thank you to all our partners, service providers and everyone who played a part behind the scenes. And to the Nawiri Ent. team; we really did that!! 😮‍💨 It was a lot of moving pieces, a lot of long days, and a lot of figuring things out as we went, but seeing it all come together made every bit of it worth it. Proud of usss.. 😘
