Here’s to 4 years of good haircuts and even better memories. To the first haircuts that marked new beginnings, to the wedding haircuts that celebrated love, to the graduation cuts that symbolized achievement, and to those heartfelt moments where we shared in the weight of a loved one’s passing.

We’ve been there for the new fun and edgy haircuts, transformational haircuts, the gender-affirming cuts, and the post-treatment haircuts where confidence was restored. Through it all, we’ve shared laughs, stories, jokes, and even a few tears with our incredible clients who have become friends.

For the last four years, we’ve donated $1 from every haircut, worked to clean up our neighborhood, and created a safe, welcoming space for anyone who needs it. We are grateful for the connections we’ve made, for the friendships we’ve built, and for the opportunity to serve our community.

We’re lucky to spend every day working side by side with our friends and having them in our chairs. You’ve helped make Good Fortune what it is today, and we couldn’t be more thankful.

Here’s to many more years of cuts, laughs, and all the moments in between. Cheers to the good hair and even better fortune ahead. ✂️✨

Last year we donated $1 from every haircut to @artcityinc which totalled to $11,376 🤩
✨We love and appreciate everything they do for our community and young folks in our city! 🎨✨

This brings us to a total of $34,170.50 donated to local organizations since we opened in 2021!
We are so proud of this🏆 we couldn’t do it without our dedicated team and the support from our community + city

We are happy to announce our current organization we are continuing our promise of donating $1 from every haircut service to ⭐️ @thedreamfactorymb ⭐️ which is an amazing and life changing organizing solely relying on the support they receive here in our province. Their mission is clear: to make dreams come true for kids in Manitoba battling life-threatening illnesses, and exist to be a source of joy, laughter and hope for kids and families in our province going through an incredibly difficult experience. ❤️✨

Three years of good hair and great memories! We are so grateful for everyone who has supported our little barbershop along the way, we couldn’t have done it without our amazing team!

When we opened these doors three years ago today, we wanted to make a difference in our industry, neighbourhood and city, but most importantly - to have a place to cut hair, make people feel comfortable and whatever the heck we wanted! l

A Barbershop is a very special place.

It’s filled with people who are authentically, unapologetically themselves. The wonderful humans @goodfortunebarbers are masters of their trade. More importantly they provide an ear to so many that walk through their doors. It’s therapeutic getting a haircut there. A energy radiates through the building.
To top it all off, I get my haircut by @kenyontorie who truly is a magical human being. She carries a positive energy that lifts you up, she’s a bad ass barber, and best of all once or twice a month I get a top tier hug that fills my cup up. A hug that takes the stress out of life, calms my nervous system, and provides me with a surge of positive energy for the rest of my day. We all need to hug more!!
