A week full of worship, laughter, happy tears, late nights, inside jokes, and memories I’ll carry with me long after camp is over. Thankful for every person who made this week special and for a God who continues to show up in the most unexpected ways. Fuego 2026, you’ll always have a special place in my heart. ❤️‍🔥

This camp holds such a special place in my heart and I’ll never be able to fully express how much love I have for it. 7th grade Lexi would be so amazed with how much God has moved in my life. In 9th grade, I surrendered my life to Jesus in the cafeteria out of all places and Jesus has completely changed my heart since then. Fuego isn’t just a church camp. It’s a family. The staffers genuinely care about each and every kid that walks off the bus or van that they rode to get there. They POUR their knowledge, love and wisdom into us trusting that God will work in our hearts and strengthen our faith making us love Jesus more than when we got to camp. This week especially was extra special to me because it was the last time i’ll ever be a camper and one of the major lessons I was taught was laziness in busyness. There are so many things that I say yes to without having intentionality through it. Joining this club or that organization and missing so many opportunities to serve the Lord through it. Every place I go should be viewed as a mission field, and every person I meet I should view as an opportunity to talk about the love of God and what He has done for them. There are so many surface level friendships or acquaintances that I have that could be so much deeper if I just asked questions. My goal for after camp is to continue what my goal was during camp: getting out of my comfort zone to build deeper relationships with younger and older kids than me. I pray that God continues to give me the courage and faith to keep serving Him in any and every way. I pray that this week’s growth doesn’t stop Sunday, but stays with me until God calls me home. I’m forever grateful for the last 6 summers at Fuego, lessons learned, leaders that have discipled me, and friends who I can call brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank you God for every blessing that I could never deserve! See you later Camp Fuego!

Fuego ‘26🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 We got asked a question this week in dg, that question was is Jesus first in your life or is he the center of your life? Meaning that is Jesus just a part of your checklist for that day going through things just to get them done or do you incorporate him in everything you do. God revealed to me this week that he has just been a part of my checklist I have just been getting through bible reading or prayer and then going on with my day instead of then reflecting him, using those fruits of the spirit in everything that I do.
