Sweeney dump. 🥺❤️
Words can’t express how much I love this show and this cast and this role. Truly my favorite production I’ve ever done. This cast is phenomenal. I was so humbled to share the stage with every single one of them.

Playing Johanna has been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences! I fell in love with her the first time I saw Sweeney Todd, but it took a real journey to believe I could be her. Over the past few months, I retrained my voice as a classical soprano and dove deep into her world.

She’s delicate but never weak, trapped between fear and freedom, love and survival. I’ve stood in her shoes before, dreaming of breaking free and finding my voice again.

I love her deeply, and I’m endlessly grateful to Amber for trusting me with this role. 🤍 This show gave me back a piece of myself and through her I found my voice again. “If I cannot fly, let me sing” 💞🕊️

Finally was able to do my favorite musical ever!!
I still feel fairly new to musical theatre and I am so happy to have been apart of a talented cast and beyond thankful they saw the potential in me to portray Young Republicanette in the ensemble! This was such a good show and I am happy with the outcome that came from it.
Thank you @polarisarts and @kymberliboynton for this opportunity.

Oh where do I even begin, never in a million years did I ever think I would be doing musical theatre again…until joey and bre convinced me to do heathers…and thank you both for that, best decision I have made in a long time🖤

Heathers has pushed me so far out of my comfort zone and really expanded me as a performer, which I am so so grateful for. I have always doubted myself and never felt quite good enough to even try and audition for musicals. But I did it and I’m looking forward to many more! 🥹

To the Cast of 1989, You all rock🫶🏻 The level of talent each and every one of you have and brought to the table was insane. I’m so happy I got to work with you all and share a stage with you🫶🏻 I love you guys💛

And of Course last but certainly not least, The relish and ketchup to my mustard✨ You guys were so so so amazing to work with, your talented beyond comparison! I’m so incredibly grateful to have been you’re heather mac, I love you guys!❤️💚💛

KEEP SHINING YOUR LIGHT!
signing off,
Heather Mac💛

We have reached the end of heathers! What an insane show this was to be a part of and what a wild rollercoaster it has been

I wanna thank everyone who came out to watch this show (bonus points if you saw both casts)

I wanna thank the cast for making this a truly fun show to be a part of

And lastly I wanna thank my co-star @platypus._._ , it’s been way too long since we have done a show together and to do this show with you is quite literally the best thing that could have happened to me

Thank you all

after 7 long years, i return to musical theatre this summer. come see me as JD in Heathers the Musical. Veronica Sawyer does her best to survive her senior year while navigating the beautiful but cruel Heathers, the new to school Jason “J.D.” Dean, and the constant pressure to fit in with everyone else.
