My act for the Animecon Solo Competition!

Did you know? I sang the cover myself! My equipment was fighting me every step of the way, but I'm happy with how the cover turned out. I really wanted to sing the cover myself, as I've been a big fan of Peggy Lee and Julie London who sang this song as well. That's also why I went with the more upbeat version.

For the act I immediately knew that I wanted to go with burlesque as I've been a burlesque fan for over 10 years. It also influenced my costume making process, as it meant I needed to make a bunny suit that would allow for the act to remain suitable for the Animecon stage.

I am so happy that my act was so well received and I want to thank everyone who came up to me to tell me how much you liked it! 🥰 It made me so happy and I'm very motived to make more costumes and acts!

Big thanks to @kerescrafts who made the video that is laid over the official @animeconnl recording. Unfortunately the spotlights had malfunctioned, making the end of my act quite dark, but the phone recordings luckily captured the end nonetheless 💜💕
