One client. Multiple moments. One thing I love about styling: Your wardrobe gets to evolve with you. I’ve had the opportunity to style Kaya across different parts of her life and visibility — public-facing moments, personal brand, performance and partnership. Each one called for something different. But the goal stayed the same: alignment. Style should support who you are, where you’re going and how you want to be seen when you get there. That’s what intentional personal style looks like. Which styling moment is your favorite?

Posting this feels a little vulnerable because I normally hate seeing myself on camera. I almost never ask anyone to record me social dancing. But somewhere along the way, dance stopped being about trying to look perfect. It became about connection. About trusting myself, feeling the music, and being present in the moment with another person. This video is me choosing to celebrate the growth that comes from hours and hours of practice instead of focusing on every little thing that isn’t perfect. And to my students: be kind to the person you see in the mirror. Have patience with yourself. Growth takes time, confidence takes practice, and nobody starts out fearless. Most importantly, come to class ready to have fun. That joy is what people remember most. 💃✨ Thank you to @kerisimonsondance for hosting another great social! #bachata #neladance #stpaul #dance
