For a week of joy, laughter, vulnerability, awe, wonder, and chains breaking. I stand back in awe of all the ways you showed up this week. Thank you for letting me have a front row seat to it all.

wow Jesus.

it’s hard to explain how a group of people i hardly knew a week ago can leave feeling like family.

somewhere between the long bus rides, hiking trails, late night conversations, worship, laughter that left our stomachs hurting, and seeing the Lord move in ways only He can, this group became something so much more than i ever expected.

i walked into this week not knowing what this group would look like, but God did. every personality, every story, every conversation was intentional. He knew exactly who needed to be here, and watching Him weave us together has been one of the sweetest gifts.

i watched walls come down. i watched strangers become friends. i watched courage replace fear. i watched students pray boldly, worship freely, encourage one another, and choose obedience even when it wasn’t easy. i watched the Lord remind each of us that He is still changing hearts no matter the stage of life.

to my girls, thank you for letting me laugh with you, cry with you, pray with you, and cheer you on. thank you for trusting me with pieces of your hearts and your stories. you probably don’t realize it, but that’s something i will hold near and dear for so long.

i’ll remember the conversations no one else heard, the prayers whispered over one another, the inside jokes that make no sense to anyone else, and the moments where all we could do was stop and say, “look what God is doing.”

if this was what the Lord did with a group of people in one week, i can’t wait to see what He does in each of your lives from here. i know this isn’t the end of your stories. i think it’s just the beginning- and im forever thankful for the front row seat. ❤️❤️

Dear Jesus,

Thank you. There’s truly no real words I could use to describe this experience. Serving you and your people in Honduras was nothing short of uncomfortable, heavy, and incredibly hard; but also nothing short of unexplainably life changing, perspective changing, faith changing, and unforgettable.

If I could redo it all again, I would change absolutely nothing. Our team, everything we did, and all the challenges (expected and unexpected) that we endured; just all make perfect sense now, as I am looking back on our time, even if in the moment there was doubt.

When asked what the Lord taught me, there is a page full of things I learned and wrote down. But to sum it up: In Honduras the Lord taught me, through the testimonies of others, to be content and full of the everlasting joy of the Lord in ALL seasons, no matter what I may feel internally or my current world circumstances.

Thank you Lord for your intentional purpose in absolutely everything you do. Thank you for every beautiful creation and amazing human you created piece by piece, and most importantly, thank you for the everlasting joy and faithfulness shown through you.

It’s hard to put this trip into words because pictures can capture faces, but they can’t capture what God does to your heart. I came thinking I was going to serve, but somewhere along the way, God changed me. Despite the brokenness we witnessed, there was so much beauty. We saw joy where the world says there shouldn’t be any, hope in the middle of heartbreaking circumstances, and faith that was stronger than I can even describe. Thank you Jesus for breaking my heart for what breaks yours and giving me new perspective 🌎🤍

In Honduras, God taught me to have compassion on His people, to see them the way that He does, to always show up for others in faith, and don’t miss any moments to bring others to the Lord.

Such a beautiful weekend for this retreat! Our summer mission team got to spend the weekend away from all distractions in the world and grow closer to each other and God. This past weekend we got to share our testimonies and realize how our story’s can really help another person. Before this weekend I had been walking into this mission trip wondering why would God put it in my brain. I’ve had to grow up in a life that nothing had clarity on what I was supposed to do in life. But now after this weekend, i’ve come to realize that I don’t need to know all the details. All i need to do is follow what Christ has led me to do. And what a joy to do that with a group of people who love the Lord and have some of the same questions. Such a great weekend even after many hard nights and LOTS of volleyball leading to bruising and our late night worship together! I couldn’t ask for a better team to go serve the Lord with. Our next stop is Honduras in June and we all can’t wait to see what Jesus has in store for us!
