Philadelphia! Such a pleasure to get to skate in this historic place, find a Japanese Brian Wenning, and meet the godfather of the flip-out himself @kerrygetz Go check this place out. It is absolutely amazing, and you can skate the same ledges you’ve seen for decades, perfectly preserved, with zero bust factor. There are a plethora of other legendary spots in close proximity as well. Find them on @findskatespots cheers y’all!

I bought nearly every first gen @nikesb out of this door. In purest of broke boy skate life manner brought majority of them back; Supas, unkles, Heineken, Gino’s back and resold them used for pennies on the same shelves. Quite the regret.
Tim always held me down. Getz always held me down.
Not for nothing, I always wondered why the swoosh and sb slept on Philly. The sneaker culture has always been special. The skate community, and how it tied back to SB has always been a lay up away of something special.
@nocturnalskate like all the shops in Philly have been a safe haven for a bunch of kids all attracted to this special thing. Laughed there. Cried there. Prolly slept there.
Thankful for @kerrygetz and Tim and the door they opened which supported so many of us. @brannon_john & @benkinetic for reinvesting in it and keeping it alive off south st as it always has. Congrats yall! Long overdue swoosh collab! 🫡

Today I proudly can say I beat cancer.

The past few months have been a rollercoaster of emotions and battles I never thought I’d face at 20 years old. After 8 rounds of chemotherapy, I am beyond grateful to ring the bell.

I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the support of everyone around me. My appreciation goes to my family and all the support through this. My friends, for getting me out of the house, reaching out and checking on me. My loving woman, for countless support and encouragement through everything, shaving your head for me. I could not thank you enough for coming to every appointment and every infusion. And lastly, the MD Anderson team at Cooper, a seamless process and constant aid in every step of the way.

In 2005, @dvsshoeco and @colinmkennedy released “Skate More” to the world. A fun and revolutionary video featuring skateboarding legends and future legends alike. Giving us iconic video parts, quotes, and @daewon1song’s most diverse video part which would lead into him becoming Skater of the Year. Colin provided us with the master file for “Skate More” and it is now streaming on the Griptape app.
