We were recently asked of our opinion on live musicians vs. a DJ - so let’s talk about it! 🎻✨ Live music is an easy way to elevate your ceremony. We find that the raw, romantic sound deepens the emotions of everyone in the room. Seeing the bride walk in while a violin pauses? It takes a beautiful moment and makes it absolutely breathtaking. 🤍 Live musicians are also able to manipulate a song in real time. You want to walk in to a specific moment in the song, but need a few extra bars of the melody to make that work? Easy! But when it comes to reception, a good DJ provides a completely different level of guest experience. If you want a lively dance floor, club bangers don’t hit quite the same on guitar! You won’t go wrong by hiring a good DJ to spin your tracks. 🪩 Although, there are lots of great live bands who will keep your dance floor packed all night! At the end of the day, there are major pros to both options. It truly depends on your preferences, your guests, and the overall atmosphere of your wedding! But in our opinion? Why not do both?!
