a few weeks ago @ketamlive played its annual @hotelutah set and pushed its tonal experiments to another plane. what i love about @ketamlive is the mixture of fixed song structure and areas for improvisation that let us play around uncomfortably while being able to know where our feet stand. it’s very similar when i’m doing my daily swim: i know what i’m aiming for in terms of time and technique, but how i get there - the psychology, philosophy and daily tactics that get addressed - are always in the moment. and always influenced by the grind. which changes the product and makes it even more unique.

my band @ketamlive just released a new live track from our recent set at the @ivyroom. RIFF RAFF has evolved over the years and this rendition was too good not to share. major thanks to @tone.freq for mixing and mastering, @pauliseye for capturing the set and engineering that night, and for @torolarios and @hahahavy who continue to push this music to new sonic realms. link in bio.
