It takes one of the best producing teams in the world to get the approvals to fly in some of the most restrictive airspaces in the US. Paperwork and coordination allowed us to fly with five different branches of the US Military on three different military bases and in the capital itself. Freedom 250 was certainly an IndyCar race for the ages.

Arlington Memorial Bridge is some of the most protected airspace in the country - every DC agency had to sign off before we could launch. When the window opened, DCA closed the airspace just for us. Coast Guard boats held position on the Potomac. The Freedom 250 pace car rolled in right on cue.
Land, water, sky - all synced to a single 10-minute window.

Another iconic weekend in the books ✈️🇺🇸
Flying in Washington DC -the most restricted airspace in the country -for the @indycar Freedom 250. Sharing the sky with military aircraft and Airforce 1 during the flyovers, and even caught a shot of the Beast, the Presidential limo itself.
