POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Season One. The debut album of my band, @fuggemmusic. This has been many years in the making, long ago we set the goal that our first release would be a full length album and now it’s finally ready and will be out in the world on October 23rd. This is by far the biggest creative project I’ve ever completed, some of these songs were first drafted in 2020 and have been reshaped and heavily tweaked multiple times since then. It’s been quite the journey to get here, it’s hard to describe really how much time and hard work has gone into writing these songs, the recording process, and combing over every detail of this music to make sure it meets the high standards we set for ourselves. We’re all really proud of this body of work and we can’t wait to share it with you soon. Fuggem Forever 🖤

7 years of Infrasound and somehow it still finds new ways to mean even more to me every time. So much of my life, my relationships, and some of my favorite memories are tied to this place, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Watching Joe and the boys play their second infra set was an indescribable feeling. If you know Joe, you know how much music lives inside of him. Seeing their creativity and hard work paying off is unreal.

I also just really appreciate the people who understand that everyone experiences festivals differently. So big ups to the people who let me move through these spaces in the way that feels right for me and never make me feel out of place for it. You are the real mvps.

Forever grateful for this place, the people who work so hard to make it what it is, my people, and for me, for knowing who the fuck I am and never letting a single person change that. See yall at equinox 💜

Fav sets: Gladde paling, Spoonbill, Numa crew, eoto, & Fuggem

When I was 17, a buddy of mine took @joshswensenmusic and I to a “house show” at this place in Mankato called the Cherry Pit. There were some bands there like Infinite Me, @weatheredmn, @goodnightgorillas, and this band called @pierretheband. I remember being a young, dumb, high school kid thinking “this is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen”. These bands were so talented! And they all played their own original music! And they all had their own unique style, tone, and omnificence to them that captivated me. I’ll never forget that night, but especially Pierre playing for what seemed like over an hour, and @floorbugs ripping a guitar solo and getting so lost in it to where he almost fell over as someone slid a literal seat from a car underneath him…and he just kept going. Alex slamming his head viciously to their groove. And Kevan commanding the beat in such a nonchalant way, and still shredding. Anyways… shout out Pierre. Shouts out Kevan. Their punk/grunge style and Kevan’s drumming influenced me heavily through the years. Still one of the greatest of all time bands to ever come out of MN and I miss their shows dearly. This is Smart - Pierre
