Days like today are a reminder to me as to why God allowed me to be on this planet and live where I do. For those of you who know me know that I’ve always loved sports. As imperfect as I am I try to love the Lord and lead people to Him.

Last summer when I went out on a limb and started @swanseatigersportsnetwork I had no clue the doors that God would open up. After all I started it not just as a hobby to broadcast, but first and foremost as a ministry and way to reach the world for Christ. In a short year I’ve started helping out with baseball as an assistant coach, calling countless games, and built relationships with many Swansea athletes.

This morning the Swansea high school football team came to @fbcgastonsc for our first ever ‘Faith, Food and Football’. I love these guys, coaches and this team! I’ve enjoyed being around them this summer and can’t wait to call some awesome games in the booth. Go God! Go Swansea!!

We are just 78 days from kickoff in Swansea for the 2026 football season. On Friday, August 21st the Tigers host the Keenan Raiders for the season opener.

To help us countdown to kickoff, enjoy a clip from last year when the Tigers beat Keenan 31-22 to get their first region win of the season. During the game Kevin Sightler made a big play with a HUGE hit. Go Tigers! Kevin Sightler #55 played both ways for the Tigers as an Offensive Guard and Defensive Tackle in his sophomore season. We know we will continue to see big hits like this from #55 this season. #CountdownToKickoff
