Not satisfied enough being in just road running, Gumi prepares another pair for the in-betweens. Dubbed the Cross Cruiser, this shoe is positioned as one reliable shoe for daily routines, outdoor treks, travel, and the kind of spontaneous escapes that don't fit anywhere. It's for the one who braves enough to test it all. Engineered for seamless transitions across pavement and gravel, dirt and weekend trails, they used lightweight synthetic upper material called Tattex, bungee lace for quick fit system, another new midsole compound from Gumi caled RE-X Tuff, designed to stay stable on uneven ground while keeping every step comfortable on the road. 1:40 gave it everything till km 10, then the body just shut down. couldn’t breathe, and even 6:00 pace felt impossible. run-walked the rest of the way to the finish. told myself to DNF a hundred times. but you finish what you start. so i soaked up the crowd and tried to have fun with it till the line. 1:20 is still alive. i’ll be back 💪🏻 back to the drawing board. In a space dominated by loud and gaudy vibes, Gumi took their craft in minimizing its shoe's branding, putting more emphasis towards the user's needs. As a newly established footwear brand, Gumi focuses on quiet design and practical form. Each pair is made for versatility and purpose. Starting with several footwear models, they've just recently dropped the max-cush pair called Vega. Engineered for stability while delivering a high-stack smooth feel, they used dual midsole setup with sturdier foam on the outside and RE-X carrier foam on the inside. Design-wise, they opt with angular midsole shape here, with huge heel spoiler for additional stability. Without overlooking its' upper comfort, they used wide last shape for wider forefoot, toe box, and higher volume.
