🎵❤️パリ! More from my Epic Extreme 24-hour foodie solo traveler trip from 🍀Boston to 🇫🇷Paris last year!

I ate at 4 Michelin restaurants + No 1 Best Croissant 🥐 Winner in Paris all in 24 hours!

Little recap from Part 1:
- 🥐 Breakfast No. 1 at No. 1 🥐 winner Carton

- 🍳Breakfast No. 2 at Michelin guide Le Comptoir du Relais at 4 ⭐️ hotel Le Relais Saint Germain.

After checking-in at the hotel, I visited:
- ⛲️Place Saint-Sulpice. Construction of the present church building began in 1646. Fountain was built between 1843-1848 by the same architect who designed the tomb of Napoleon.

- 🛒one of my favorite grocery stores in Paris.

- 🥖Poilâne, the most famous bakery in Paris. The family-owned artisan bakery was founded in 1932. Signature sourdough loaf made with stone-ground flour and Guérande sea salt, baked in wood-fired ovens, scored with signature P.

- 🚗Uber ride to lunch at a Michelin star ⭐️ restaurant, which I will reveal in Part 3 of my 24 hours in Paris adventure!

It was THE CRAZIEST thing I’ve ever done and also THE BEST 24 hours of my life!

First day trip ever .. Detroit here we come! This was so awesome! Our flight departed at 6:15am and the return left at 8:00pm which gave us a full day! I loved having an adventurous day and sleeping in my own bed! You MUST try this! Inspired by the awesome @kevindroniak

Micro trips are having a MOMENT in 2026. But did you know there are levels to this? 👀

As the Micro-Cation Queen of my 20s, I am not new to this. I am true to this. 😂

So let’s talk about the 4 types of micro-trip travelers and, yes, there are even levels within the levels.

Drop in the comments: Which one are you?

1. THE DAY TRIPPER 🚗✈️
You take a trip for 8–16 hours, which means no lodging and usually no luggage required.

And there are levels within this level:
📌 The nearby explorer or regional day tripper: @theadeolacrown takes day trips to cities and towns around NYC.
📌The domestic day tripper: @themeldemi will catch a domestic flight to spend the day in another state.
📌The extreme day tripper: @kevindroniak will fly 12+ hours just to spend the day somewhere! 😂

Other day-trip inspiration: @onthemovewithmad , whose Out N Back series breaks down her day trips from DC, and @marissa.daily , who recently took a day trip from DC to Toronto because... why not?

2. THE OVERNIGHTER 🏨
You take a 24-hour trip that requires just one night of lodging, but you can still get two full days of exploring out of it.

📌 @adventuresofmattandnat often used this strategy when they traveled to all 50 states in one year.

3. THE WEEKENDER 🌎
You take a 36–48 hour trip without using PTO. Think: leave Friday afternoon, explore all weekend, and return Sunday evening so you can be back at work Monday morning.

4. THE LONG WEEKENDER ✈️
You stretch your trip to 3–5 days, often by taking advantage of a federal holiday or adding a couple of days to your existing weekend.

As for me? I am currently more of a Regional Day Tripper in this season.

Turks & Caicos, Indianapolis, Chicago, Austin… and now St. Louis.

Proud of Myself

Hitting my goal weight feels like so much more than a number on a scale.

For the first time in a long time, I genuinely feel happy, healthy, and proud of where I am. The physical transformation is amazing, but the biggest change has happened in my mind.

Taking care of my mental health, staying consistent, letting go of old habits, and learning to show myself some grace has changed everything.

This journey hasn’t been perfect, but it’s been real. And today, I’m grateful for how far I’ve come.

Feeling good in my body. Feeling clear in my mind. And, most importantly, feeling happy . 🖤
