When Will We Learn is the first single on my upcoming album The Patriarchy is Ruinous (for everyone). With the alternate title We Are One, this concept album is a compassionate invitation to see beyond the superficial differences of traditional gender identity and roles to embrace our shared humanity. When Will We Learn is a song to remind us that little boys and grown men alike are whole humans with a full range of emotions, and when it hurts, everyone cries.

Preorder now, everywhere but Spotify.

7 years ago tonight, @stevenpage Trio played one of my favorite songs live for the first time in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. I love to revisit this video for the vunerable presong banter with @kevinfoxcello and the @craignorthey guitar solo still gives me chills and, sometimes, tears. All the feels from this memory. 💜

What a beautiful moment last night. Surrounded by the most talented band I could have ever asked for - even had mom and dad on stage.

Thank you all for being there and to @liveincorporated for giving me a new opportunity as a musician.

Long live @johnmayer 🙏🏻

I’m excited to finally announce the release of my first solo-era holiday album, Steven’s Greetings, coming November 13th. Pre-sales are live NOW! Head to stevenpage.shop to order. We have bundles available, or you can buy the vinyl or CD à la carte, as well as other cool bits of seasonal Steven’s Greetings merch like beanies (or toques, as we call them in Canada), scarves (or scarfs as we call them in Canada. Actually that part is a lie), t-shirts and even a 25-sticker advent calendar. I hope you’ll add this album to your holiday music playlist, or onto your stack of holiday albums, right next to The Beach Boys, Mariah Carey and Vince Guaraldi. Or at least next to Kenny G. The Steven’s Greetings tour starts in Canton, Michigan on November 22, although I’m sure we’ll start sneaking the songs into the setlist the week before that too. I’m really looking forward to seeing you on the road, and I hope you enjoy this new album! 📷:@mattbarnesphoto

What did I do this summer? Among many things, I was lucky to get a scholarship from @musicmasterscollective to @stevenpage’s summer camp! 5 days of music, learning, and new friends. Little kid Andrew would never believe that he’d be jamming some of his favourite songs with the man himself. Some highlights include:
-learning and playing Brian Wilson with @stevenpage
-Meeting/jamming with @terralightfoot and @jonauer
-new friends across North America
-performing Freak (for the first time) for @wesleystace @moetpoh (and teaching Wes about Simple Plan), and getting some very kind feedback
-getting into NYC for a few days (despite some pretty bad weather), driving down to @jayandsilentbobstash and meeting Mike Zapcic

More summer appreciation posts coming, and maybe an acoustic album next year? Guess we’ll see.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO @socanfdn FOR SPONSORING THE TRAVEL TO THIS!

Summer Wrap Up

Because of the kids' schedules, we only had about a week and a half together this summer. To liberally borrow from @craignorthey lyrics, "it's always the right time for another first time and no one's ever late." We took our first family visit to the Niagara area together early in the month and had a great few days reconnecting. I realized we didn't take as many pictures as usual though. We caught a Steven Page Trio show in Stratford, ON. We snuck in a few Amherst Community Band concerts to see Paul perform. Last week, I was back in Canada meeting up with friends for another round of concerts and had a couple excellent solo driving days, despite the storms I had to pull off for on the return trip. Today, Lilly is heading back to Maine to start her final year of undergrad. She is looking forward to a great semester and is starting to focus on what comes next (Masters or PhD). Paul has been back on campus for the week for band camp and is now finally in his regular housing for the year. Bittersweet that it is over so quickly, but incredibly grateful that schedules aligned for us to make some new memories together.

1 Niagara Whirlpools
2-3 Ridge Road Winery
4-5 @stevenpage trio show in Stratford
6 Amherst Community Band concert (we were pretty far back this particular evening)
7-18 My solo trip to the Ottawa area for my first @oddsmusic show(s)
19 @lillywflute ready to head back to school in Maine
20 @jerrythesaxophone band camp attire for move in

Saint John, what a night ✨

Steven Page LIVE on The Boardwalk, a packed waterfront and a crowd singing along to every word.

Thank you for showing up and making another summer night on The Boardwalk one to remember.

This event wouldn’t have been possible without the collaboration and support of @cityofsaintjohnnb, @envisionsaintjohn, and @jsmsportsent, whose partnership helped bring this FREE experience to our waterfront.

We’ve added one more show to this fall’s Steven’s Greetings tour - the Steven Page Trio will be returning to the (big breath) Village Theater at Cherry Hill, in Canton, Michigan on November 22nd to kick off the holiday season. We’ll be playing songs from my new holiday album, Steven’s Greetings, coming this November, along with hits and other stuff from my days in Barenaked Ladies and from my solo albums too. It will be just enough holiday music. Some Christmas, some Hanukkah, some winter stuff. And also stuff like What A Good Boy and Brian Wilson. I promise a balance that will surprise and delight (some people). Tickets are on sale for all shows now! Head to stevenpage.com or the link in my bio for tickets. Hope to see you soon!
