2024… you have me feeling like each day has been a DREAM. I truly can’t believe this year happened, but I do know if it weren’t for all you guys, it wouldn’t have. I am beyond grateful for this life I am living and all the opportunities life has given me. Never in a million years would I have imagined this is what my life would be like.

I have met some of the most amazing people this year who have changed my life immensely. God knew that they were meant to be in my life and I thank Him for that. Throughout your lifetime, people will come and go. Everyone that’s been in your life has been there for a reason. To teach you, to love you, or to experience life with you. Remember the right ones will always stay. One of the things I have learned from this year is, don’t be afraid of change. It may seem scary at first but it can remind us of how much we have. When we go through change, we treasure what remains constant.

When someone asks me how my day is going, sometimes my answer may be “ehhh”, but I stand there and think, every day that I wake up is a great day. I am thankful to be here because I never know when my last day may be. Time is precious. So with that being said, never take life for granted because we never know what could happen a couple seconds, minutes, hours, etc. from now. Life is way too short to spend it wondering what it could have been like, so live all of your dreams and keep chasing them with all your heart.

2025, here we come!

Wrapping up an unforgettable week in Kentucky. I was fortunate enough to harvest my first velvet buck this past Sunday evening in the 90+ degree heat. Mainframe 10 with 2 kickers for 12 legal points. On the ride back to the lodge in the dark we hit a washout in the UTV and we rolled the machine twice! Thankfully we were all ok other than some bumps and bruises! From that moment this deer was dubbed the "Rollover Buck" 😎

I spent the rest of the week glassing fields in hopes to help pinpoint some bucks for the other guys. They came close to a couple that dwarfed mine! Harvesting a dream buck was the highlight, but the camaraderie was just as great. Drinks were poured, stories shared, and laughs were had. I couldn't have dreamt it up any better with a better group of guys!

Huge shout out to Luke and the guys with @7_bar_outfitters for an amazing week. For my first time hunting with an outfitter, I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Top to bottom a first class operation We are already counting down the days until next year!
