A true study in refined maximalism. 😍

Maximalism may be bold by nature, but the beauty of a truly refined design lies in its intentionality.

Every color, pattern, texture, and detail was thoughtfully considered and carefully curated to create a design that felt layered, cohesive, and undeniably personal.

From the richness of the velvet lampshades to the intricate tabletop selections, nothing was chosen by chance. We actually sourced linens from three different companies to ensure every element captured the essence of Elle’s vision.

And when Elle saw this beautiful, distinctive pattern from @stradleydavidson it was love at first sight! It became one of the defining elements of the tablescape, bringing together the colors, textures, and layers so beautifully.

Because refined maximalism isn’t simply about doing more. It’s about knowing how to bring more together beautifully. 🤍

And this, my friends, is what happens when every detail has a purpose. ✨

I might be getting a little too good at making Plan B look better than Plan A. 😉

No one ever wants to be the person making the final call when the weather is unpredictable, especially when that decision means changing a vision that has been months in the making.

But sometimes, it takes someone who can remain calm under pressure, trust their instincts, and confidently make the tough call, even when not everyone agrees.

After more than a decade in this industry, I’ve learned that my expertise extends far beyond beautiful designs and flawless logistics. It’s also about leadership, experience, and knowing when to make the difficult decisions that ultimately protect the celebration.

Because beautiful weddings don’t just happen. They’re the result of thoughtful planning, decisive leadership, and the ability to pivot when it matters most.

And well, they say pressure makes diamonds. 💎

I’d say this Plan B, with a hurricane threatening our plans, turned out pretty spectacular. 😉🤍

Some weddings you leave still smiling in the car. This was one of them! 🤍

The Charlotte wedding bridal blog is now live, and getting to be this couple’s live illustrator for the day was such a joy! ✨

On the blog I’m sharing the whole story: how the couple found their way to each other, the vision they built for their day, and why the venue was the perfect place to bring it to life.

Plus a look at the custom pieces I created for them. 🎨
If you’re dreaming up a Charlotte celebration of your own, consider this your inspiration. 💍

Your invitation suite is the first glimpse your guests get into your wedding day, so think of it as an extension of your overall design, not a separate piece of the puzzle.

The colors, textures, patterns, fonts, and small details you choose for your stationery can all be echoed throughout your wedding day, from your signage and menus to your place cards, linens, florals, and even the smallest details at the reception.

When those elements carry through, everything feels intentional and connected … without having to perfectly match. Your invitation suite sets the tone, and the rest of the day’s design gets to carry it forward 🤍🥂

Congratulations to our newest Jenkins & Co. couple, Elle & Will! 🤍

A little rain (and not even a hurricane!) could steal the shine from their incredible celebration! 😍

A day overflowing with love, joy, and unforgettable moments, set against a breathtaking backdrop that was a true study in refined maximalism. Every detail was thoughtfully layered, every element intentional, and the result was nothing short of extraordinary.

Congratulations, Elle & Will! Wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter, and beautiful celebrations together. 🤍🥂

As seen on @loverly 🤍 Pinehurst, but make it personal. 🍸⛳️

Watercolor details, garden florals, golf balls tucked into the details, a little Club Cognac and a dance floor that stayed packed all night. Molly & Alex made the classics feel completely their own and we had the best time capturing every bit of it.

Reliving this weekend over on @loverly 🤍 Cheers to the newlyweds and the dream team behind it all:

It’s almost been ONE YEAR since Halle and Ken had the coolest backyard wedding.

Lake Como to Lake Wylie was a fun little challenge, especially when we had just four months to bring it to life. And by “bring it to life,” I mean fully build out the design while their backyard was literally under construction.

Four months. A construction zone. A very big vision. And somehow, it all came together exactly as it was supposed to.

This one will always be a favorite. Proof that the coolest weddings don’t have to happen at a traditional venue. Sometimes the best canvas is right in your own backyard. 🌴

One venue, three completely different looks ✨

One of the things we love about being a planner who isn’t tied to a specific venue is getting to work all over the place, but there’s something extra special about returning to venues we know really well.

When we’ve worked in a space multiple times, we know the ins and outs, the best spots for each element, how the light moves through the room, and all the little details that can make planning even smoother. But the best part? Getting to see the same space completely transformed for every couple.

Because a venue is just the starting point. The design, the details, and the way the space feels should reflect the people getting married there.

Three couples. Three design styles. One reception space, and proof that no two weddings have to look the same.
