10 plus years in stills and motion. Brought me to understand and create not only my own projects but also projects of others. From amazing technicians, directors of photography’s, arts, motion, specialty, photographers, and to every single department in this creative world I would like to thank you! Each and every one of you made this journey enjoyable, educational and most of all memorable. In case you missed any stories working together there is years of BTS in my feed from various projects. Sorry couldn’t tag everyone. #grips #gaffers #film #motion #photography

It’s finally here 💗My first short film “grey area” will be making it’s world premiere at the @montrealblackfilmfest this September AND is an official selection for @cinefam_women this October. I directed, produced and wrote this film, and I am honoured to finally share it with the world. ✨ Check out the trailer and click on my link in bio to get your tickets to see the film this fall! 💓💫 Words cannot describe the amount of joy this project has brought me. However, this film is not mine alone. It was brought to life by so many talented creative voices in the city. It is surreal to think that a project I have been working on for over five years will finally make its world premiere. “grey area” is a love letter to my younger self and the city of Toronto that shaped me. I cannot wait for y’all to see it!🎬 Director, Producer, Writer: Keesha Chung DOP: @kevinparkdp Editor: @misterstixx Costume Designer: @mechaclarke Composer: @villabeatz Staring: @goldskyn @iloveyouprizm @clvssicmess @denika8 @lesliedurward Diana Goldman Makeup Artists: @rahsthetics & @cazthecreative Hair: @sainttrisha & Marvia Donegar 1st Assistant Camera: @zachminawi & shiivvani 2nd Assistant Camera: @chrisslowe Gaffer: @mazai.photo Grip: @figaero Colourist: Kevin Wu - Artjail Toronto Sound Recordist: @martillomastache Sound Editors: Martillo Cuerda & Tess Moir Story Editor & Script Supervisor: Jazmin Batey 1st Assistant Director: @folasroom Production Assistants: @lifesizedcowboy & @chichi_raldo Catering: @sthompson597 @chef_milu @jamila_albalushi Background Actors: @lookahlive @alicewavenova @stephthediaz @creativeharo @anna_akoto @rowemedia Jermaine Manifold BTS Video: @lauraavann & @iamneam BTS Photography: @goodgyaljj & @jybrildia #greyarea #greyareamovie #MIBFF21 #representationmatters #diversityinfilm #womenofcolor #womenofcolour #diversityinmedia #wocfilmmakers #wocvoices #wocstories #films #director #filmmaking #filmmaker #shortmovie #indiefilm #filmfestival #shortfilms #blackdirectors #strongblacklead #blackfilmsmatter #blackfilmmakers #blackwomeninfilm #blackdirector #blacknarrativesmatter #filmdirector #femaledirector #Toronto #torontofilms
