AAPIDA San Francisco: Diwali + SF Fall Show Week ✨

What a week to be part of the Bay Area design community, and what a way to end it. On Saturday night, our SF design community celebrated Diwali, the Festival of Lights, together for the first time. At the end of a very full week, in the heat and the traffic, you showed up and showed out! The attire alone was so stunning to see. Diwali celebrates light over darkness and good over evil, and spending it in a room full of community, connection, and culture felt exactly right.

Thank you to @irg_stoneboutique for inviting us to celebrate with you and for a beautiful evening of cocktails, bites, and views of the Bay at the @sfshowcase Fall Show. We’re so glad this was our first Diwali together, and we hope it’s the first of many. And if you haven’t visited their stone yard yet, put it on your list.

The day before, we kicked things off with a morning tour of the Fall Show at Fort Mason, followed by our luncheon. A big thank you to @whitemarble_pietrafina for sponsoring us!

Evenings like this remind us why AAPIDA exists: to celebrate who we are and where we come from, together.

AAPI or ally, we’d love to have you. Become a member at aapida.com/member and find upcoming events at aapida.com/calendar.

A good time was had. And the design community glittered. ✨

Métallique Chic was the VIBE at this year’s San Francisco Fall Show, and it was so incredibly fun to dress for! Bravo @suzanne_tucker and the #sffallshow for bringing our community together in such energy and style.

It was incredibly special for @aapi_designalliance community to partner with @irg_stoneboutique to celebrate Diwali as part of this year’s show. Loved seeing friends embrace the celebration, the culture and, of course, the fashion.

A few favorite moments, details and vignettes that caught my eye, from beautiful antiques and intricate craftsmanship to very good company. I’m sure I missed plenty between admiring the details and catching up with friends. Consider this my personal edit.

IRG Stone and @aapi_designalliance San Francisco hosted our first Diwali celebration at The SF Fall Show, bringing the design community closer through an evening of connection, inspiration, and tradition.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening so special. We were touched by all who showed up to support such an important Indian holiday with full embrace. We look forward to more cultural celebrations and creating meaningful moments with this incredible design community. 🪔✨

Another one for the books! Year 3 of SF Pursuit was a blast. A month long scavenger hunt throughout the city. 14 missions, so many wonderful new friends, and getting to fall in love with San Francisco over and over again: timeless! Last year I got a duck tattoo. This year I got an hourglass. Wonderful, artsy, and weird in all the best ways. #sfarts #sfpursuit #scavengerhunt #percypursuit #timekeepers
