The one word I’d use to describe Carley and Kevin’s wedding day is intentional. From an intimate ceremony at the courthouse, photos at the beautiful Architectural Antiques, to a reception dinner at Marty’s Deli just down the street from their house, they kept the whole day close to home, incorporating local businesses they love.

It was such an honor to be right there with them capturing their day ❤️

A fellow fatty asked me why a whale and I just said, “well, ya know,” and the silent acknowledgement of being called a whale as kids, being larger than people want you to be passed between us.

When I saw these drawings, I thought, “what a beautiful lil whale.” All my love to the largest creatures among us for helping us see the power and beauty of taking up space, for being mythical, for teaching me to humble in the face of the ever widening vastness of the world.
