Fun, quick church trip to Atlanta with my friend Ken—first to Passion City Church and then to 2819 Church for Pastor Philip’s post-service book announcement. Doubly blessed by worship and the Word today.

Sometimes there are couples you meet in life and immediately know…”when I’m married, I want to be like them”. Kevin and Susan possess such a welcoming and kind gentleness, I always found myself at ease and loved when I was around them. They encouraged me to dream, to do hard things, and trust God through not only their words, but their example. Whether it was publishing a Bible Study (which Kevin singlehandedly changed my mind simply by saying “ Laura, this is completely doable!”), stretching me with mentoring, or cheering me on to move across the country…they’ve always been in my corner. Their lives are amazing, their family is amazing, and our time last night was amazing as well. Find people like The Marks, you’ll love others well because of them. I’m not even going to apologize for smiling like a fool…I was so happy! 😉

One of the high joys of my life will forever be to have helped birth FLOURISH through the House we planted ourselves in and belong to — to serve the very people we call family, to see it taking root, and most importantly: to see women learning more about God, how their lives are built upon His Word, and how we can actually flourish right where we are planted. Mentoring is a powerful thing, and I believe in it with all my heart! What started as a seed in the soil of Passion City Church has now bloomed into a resource for the whole world! FLOURISH: A Mentoring Journey resource for mentors and mentees is now available for purchase to the world. Our prayer is that countless churches and individuals will benefit from it. We are so grateful to share this resource globally through our partnership with LifeWay Christian Resources. In addition to the individual Mentor + Mentee books, we are excited to launch a new website filled with tools, videos and resources to help churches and small groups around the world start their own mentoring program. We encourage you to visit flourishmentor.com (link in profile) for more information and to order your copy of FLOURISH! I am so grateful for the most amazing team that worked countless hours in this project, with the kindest hearts and unmatched talent. To all of you: THANK YOU so much!

“There is divinity in your DNA.” The power, truth, and love in this message holds the potential to change our world as we know it. So thankful for this family and team of the deepest intentionality, for our faithful pastor, and for Jesus - “not the *reflection* of our earthly father, but the *perfection* of our earthly father,” as @louiegiglio details in these pages. - You barely have enough time to pre-order this, but you SHOULD! We need this message prioritized across the globe, plus you can receive some really special gifts when you do! Check it out at notforsakenbook.com tonight! #GoTeamGo

Can’t even begin to explain how amazing this trip was. It wasn’t about site seeing, it wasn’t about showing off what we were doing. It was about remembering what Jesus did on the cross for us, about the friendships we made along the way, that will be everlasting. #phlbus33 #passionholyland
