Belgium day 2 - starting the day with a very competitive parents v’s children rugby tennis game - with the adults cheating 😜and getting excited when they won 🤨 then on to the race, another great race 9laps racing 45 minutes on a bumpy course with mega head wind - I attacked on lap 2 and got a great gap for a lap but they managed to close me down cos of the head wind - never mind kept trying but couldn’t make anything stick with my knee not the strongest, got to the last corner first but just didn’t have the legs to get over the line first, unfortunately all 4 of us got the same time but I got 4th again 🤨. Then finished the weekend oth the best steak and chips 🥩 📍Merchtem - Peizegem Belgium 🇧🇪

My first race in Belgium 🇧🇪 and I wasn’t sure I would race after ending up getting an X-ray on my knee from doing something stupid on my mini bike. After a little treatment from my adopted dad @kevtonner I was strapped up and ready to go 👏 having not been on my bike for 2 weeks, I was really happy to come 4th - well done to @finn_de_baker for the solo victory 📍SCHELLEBELLE Belgium 🇧🇪

British cycling road national champs 🔴⚪️🔵 - Oliver’s mount hill the most brutal of races, happy to take 3rd 🥉! starting as last rider I had a lot to make up, but managed to get to the front group by the first climb - 4times up the hill split the field, great attack by @elmarstreule_cycling which was the winning move, followed closely by Peter left @northover_bros and I in a great battle for 3rd - well done to everyone who raced, that was tough 💪👏 See you next year 🤯. 📍Scarborough Oliver’s mount

Sunday saw the 2025 Southern CX Championships hosted by @ctw_cheltenham at Cheltenham. The sun came out and dried the course so surprisingly not much mud.
