I’M BLACK AND I THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY 🎥🎬

During Black History Month, BFMA had the opportunity to collaborate with the community on a short film passion project.

Written by @kevv.emmanuel, the satirical comedy explores the vast diversity within the Black community as something to be celebrated rather than used as a means of division.

The face of the student reps 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Hi! My name is Hooriah Waseem, and I’m a senior majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Biomaterials & Nano-Medicine. I’m excited to serve as Student Representative this year and to contribute to BMES!

Hi! My name is Kevin Cobbinah, but I go by my middle name, Emmanuel. I’m a sophomore majoring in Civil Engineering and serving as a Student Representative for BMES. Even though my major is different, I joined BMES because Bioengineering is a big interest of mine. A fun fact about me is that I make music and enjoy playing soccer!

Time to Fauqin Geaux

It’s been a great past 4 years with all you guys and I’ll miss Virginia. Let’s hope the next 4 years at LSU will be just as great.
