🚒🔥 VICKSBURG FIRE DEPARTMENT | CLASS 003 — WEEK 2! WEEK 1 IS IN THE BOOKS, AND WE’RE NOT SLOWING DOWN! 💪🏾 📚 Last week, our recruits covered firefighter safety, fire behavior, PPE, SCBA, communications, tools and equipment, ropes and knots, fire extinguishers, and water supply systems. 💪🏾 From hands-on skills and turnout drills to strength training at Rejuvenating Fitness, we’ve been putting in WORK! We also selected our Class Battalion Chief, Captain, and Lieutenant to help develop leadership and accountability. 🚨 WEEK 2 IS UNDERWAY! Today, every recruit completed their SCBA turnout drill in UNDER TWO MINUTES, with some approaching ONE MINUTE! ⏱️🔥 We followed that up with hauling two heavy SCBA cylinders up and down our drill tower, building endurance, teamwork, and discipline! We’re not just training firefighters. We’re preparing them for the demands of the job! 🚒 CLASS 003 — FASTER. STRONGER. SMARTER. 🔥 #Vicksburg #firefighters_daily #FireAcademy #FirefighterTraining #Firefighter
