Five Months, Five Blurbs!
Five months ago today THREE PIECES OF BROKEN GLASS was published by @abramskids ! Illustrated by the talented @vesperillustration and edited by the wonderful @brdnjamforemma, I’m full of joy as this book continues to find and delight readers. Today I wanted to celebrate the five months so far by sharing these five gorgeous blurbs from our fellow authors, because community and friendship are such a huge part of what makes being a #kidlit #author so rewarding. It is so thrilling when one of my books resonates with a group of students! I got to zoom with this class of readers from Maryland who read and loved THE COLOR OF SOUND at the end of their school year, and their teacher sent me bookmarks they made about the story! Posted with permission, of course!
I love getting the book into more hands of kids who need stories of #neurodivergent kids — see the last 2 slides for a @donorschoose classroom teacher from California who has #thecolorofsound on her wishlist! I donated, and I hope you’ll join me. See my st0ries for the l!nk! Let’s fund this teacher’s wishlist and give kids the books they need!!
