POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

When listening to Hip-Hop, I cannot help but notice the struggle and suffering many of these artists detail. Personally, I believe a lot of these struggles comes from a cycle of believing fulfillment will come from fame, when in actuality it will come from facing oneself.

Many artists detail their issues with gang violence, substance issues, and familial problems. In this video, I provide snippets of each of these examples and give a bit of my personal opinion on some of these topics.

On his new album titled “They Cloned T-Key”, Lil Tony said “Keezy won’t sell his soul if you wonder why I ain’t blow yet.” This is a reflection on the variety of artists the industry has recognized as “selling their soul” to gain profit by doing immoral acts.

Lil Tony, instead, is deciding to move forward in a noble and geniune spirit with his career. In this video, I reflect on how I admire this mode of action, and also how he may have come to this perception (by showing his previous Miraculous experience).
