SQUADS ROUND 002 — IN THE BOOKS. 🏴‍☠️

Yesterday at Cypress Point, teammates couldn’t bail you out. Individual match play versus the person with the closest handicap to yours. Every win earned a point for the squad.

Some walked away with bragging rights. Some will be explaining what happened until February.

We look forward to hearing both versions. 😂

Big thank you to @cypresspoint.cc for hosting us and everyone who showed up to represent their colors in the wind and chill.

Two rounds down. Plenty of golf left, apparently Over There.

ROUND 002. THIS ONE’S PERSONAL. 🏴‍☠️

Sunday at Cypress Point, Squads goes head to head in Individual Match Play. Every pairing has a point on the line and a whole squad expecting you to bring it home.

The lows have expectations. The mids have something to prove. The highs have strokes, and they intend to use every damn one.

And bringing up the caboose? Carson and Cameron. Just the two of them, 18 holes, and absolutely nowhere to hide. Somebody check on that handshake.

Swipe through this months featured matchups. Pick your winners. Support your Squad!

Then back it up Sunday.

Not playing? You can watch the action unfold live on @parfourapp

The ladies have a point to gain, too.

Sunday at Cypress, friendly conversation comes with a competitive agenda. Rooting for you to play well gets complicated when your putt is worth a point for the other squad.

Expect a few laughs, some pressure putts, and a very selective understanding of “Good shot”

Bring your game. Make her earn it.

The handicaps are low. The expectations are unreasonable.

These boys have spent their whole lives getting good at golf. Sunday feels like a fine time to prove it.

One opponent. One point for their squad. And somebody’s leaving Cypress with a very detailed explanation of how they lost.

A par with a stroke can ruin a good player’s whole afternoon.

The high handicaps head to Cypress with plenty of pops and every intention of making them everybody else’s problem.

Forget the last hole. Win the next one. Your squad gets the same point whether it was pretty or an absolute crime scene.

Good enough to make birdie. Creative enough to make triple from the same spot.

Welcome to the mids, where no lead is safe and “I’ve figured something out” usually comes right before a lost ball.

Don’t forget on Sunday that when you start trying to hit shots you saw on YouTube, you only have to beat the guy across from you.

The caboose has been designated a diplomatic mission.

Carson. Cameron. A twosome. Eighteen holes of uninterrupted quality time with someone they wouldn’t exactly choose for a road trip.

No third wheel to change

A FIRST FOR THE CLUB. ⛳️

Today we officially welcomed our first female member to Get Loose Golf @kg_cuts_757 - however she’s no stranger to the club, she recently won our @pandasfightagainstcancer benefit tournament 🏆🤝

A pretty special milestone for our little clubhouse and another step toward building the kind of golf community we’ve always envisioned.

More than a place to play. A place to belong.

Here’s to rewriting the rules, expanding access to the game of golf, and making room for everybody.

Your game just found a home. 🏠

“How’s your head?” one pumpkin said to the other.
“Pretty gourd, all things considered.” 🎃

Had a blast emoting my inner horror junkie with these two <3

The Hampton Roads Bogey Tour only exists because of you dudes.

Every tee time, every side bet, every ball in the woods, every beer after 18, every chirp in the group chat, every handshake on the green… that’s what’s building this thing.

What started as a few buddies trying to coordinate tee time invites has turned into a community way bigger than we imagined. Week after week, you guys keep showing up, bringing energy, bringing friends, and making these Sundays feel special.

Our first annual Players Tournament at Riverfront was another reminder that this tour isn’t about perfect golf, it’s about the people showing up and sharing the fairways together.

We are grateful for every single one of you helping make the Hampton Roads Bogey Tour and Team what it is.

More majors. More memories. More chaos ahead.

See y’all Sunday. 🏌️‍♂️
HRBT to the MOON!
