When I asked my OBF what she wanted to do for HER EARTHDAY she was very intentional. She replied
“I want to go to church” I said “ok which church?”
Her response, “The Word Church in Cleveland”
So in true fashion we both began getting prepared to receive the WORD OF GOD! Plum @__anissaj and I began preparing 48 hours for KESHA! What we didn’t know was how transforming and how much we needed 48 hours in Cleveland. Upon arriving we met up at the gun range (see previous reel for how that went) and of course dark skin KESH made us custom hoodies(available for purchase ladies)
We had a great time shooting! BANG BANG we all brought our own guns and we even all shot my mossberg pistol grip pump! Sooo much fun. Then we headed to watch Plums baby boy play a game of indoor ⚽️ which was fun as well and reminded how sports teach our children critical life skills, including teamwork, discipline, resilience, and respect for rules, while promoting physical health and boosting self-esteem!
Next we checked into our cute little Airbnb and got ready for the evening. A red light 🚨silent disco at the museum, which Kesha had no clue of where we were going! Thanks Plum🫂
When I say we danced and had the best time EVER (see previous reel) when the clock struck midnight like Cinderella’s we did not want to go. So we headed to the next outing……
Fast forward to Sunday morning getting ready for church with @sundayservicecollective in the background prepping us for @thewordchurch and when I say DR. VERNON did not disappoint….. WHEW! Filled with the word we were off to do what….. EAT and baby did we eat! One black owned restaurant for brunch then a nap and back out for dinner at Cleveland’s new seafood restaurant. Of course it was BLACK OWNED…. @sazanioceana you did us amazing! That wedge salad, the 🦞 Wellington, the fried mushroom with vegan ranch, the ambiance. The owners and the conversation were the cherry on the top. Oh and the key lime pie…smh
3 words THANK YOU GOD
Thank you to my MeMe for letting me borrow her green hat, made by Pastor Sam of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist.
