Some memories from The Night of Firefly (2025). 🎨

This was one of those projects where every little detail mattered. The costumes, props, paintings, lighting, compositions… you could feel how much care went into every frame. 🖼️

What I remember most, though, is the atmosphere on set. A lot of creativity, a lot of trust, and plenty of moments that weren’t planned. Small improvisations, spontaneous ideas, unexpected discoveries that appeared for a second and somehow found their way into the film. 🎬

The best projects often feel a bit like organised chaos. Everyone brings something of themselves, and together it becomes something bigger than what was originally on the page. 📝

And somehow we still found plenty of time to laugh between takes. 😁

Working with @rytirjakub was an absolute joy.🤌🏻

A snippet of The Night of Firefly (2025), dir. Sumit Mandal, Prashant Khade

Painter and his art. 🖼️ This is actually based on a real painting. Can you guess which one?

A poetic silent film about people being human and living their exceptional ordinary lives, shot on 35mm stock (you know I love shooting on film, its just something different). The whole thing flows like poetry, is accompanied by poetry and some good music.🌞

Actor’s job is much easier when one has such a great scene partner as @rytirjakub is. So much fun working on this one. Literally. We laughed way too much.😁
