Meet the Choreographers behind SAUZE
Gabriel CAMPRUBÍ REZA & Jennifer JAIME
⠀
Two bodies navigate abandonment and memory, holding onto each other as everything around them slowly disappears. 🌫️

🏛️ About the Work
Sauze explores abandonment and memory through the body, inspired by towns slowly fading into silence. Rooted in urban dance with a strong scenic approach, the piece emerges from the visceral encounter between two bodies that support, transform, and depend on one another, allowing absence to carry weight and fragility to be seen.

👥 Choreographers & Performers
． Gabriel CAMPRUBÍ REZA — Dancer and choreographer from Venezuela with over ten years of experience, member of DOTHIS Crew, deeply rooted in Hip Hop and urban dance practices based in Barcelona.
． Jennifer JAIME— Argentine-born dancer and choreographer with over a decade of experience, member of DOTHIS Crew, blending Hip Hop, Waacking, and scenic movement exploration.

📋 Credits
． Choreography & Performance: Gabriel Camprubí Reza, Jennifer Jaime
． Music: Edited fragments from Gustavo Santaolalla (De Ushuaia a la Quiaca, Alma)
． Sound Design & Music Editing: Jennifer Jaime, Gabriel Camprubí

SAUZE by Indhhia & Kham 🔥

Portrait of Latin American choreographers Gabriel Camprubí and Jennifer Jaime

'Sauze is a dance piece that explores abandonment and memory through the body. It emerges from the image of spaces that slowly empty, where stories fade and silence begins to inhabit them. The work asks what remains and how these traces continue to live within us.'

Photographed at our yearly '15 minute sessions' with the participants of Rotterdam International Duet Choreography Competition 2026 at Theater Zuidplein

✨ Some pieces make visible what remains.
Sauze, by Gabriel Camprubí and Jennifer Jaime, grew out of the image of places slowly emptying. It is an exploration of abandonment and memory through two bodies that support one another, transform one another and need one another.
Thank you, Gabriel and Jennifer, for your attentiveness, physical commitment and the profound connection you shared on stage.
