The juxtaposition between celebrating a huge milestone such as graduation in the midst of two pandemics is emotion filled. The decision to even make a celebratory post in this climate was one I struggled with. I realized that alongside the critical information and resources being distributed, the most effortless and arguably the most important way to contribute to the BLM movement, is for black people to keep living. So, I made some collages (which was very therapeutic) and here we are. Black joy matters. Black excellence matters. Black Lives Matter.
