✨ Summertime protective styles is over—now it’s time for the silk press hair TLC. 🍂✨

Using @redken and @mizani to give this hair the care it deserves before bringing back that silky movement and shine. Because a beautiful silk press starts with what happens at the shampoo bowl. 🤎

We’re bringing silk presses, healthy hair habits, and bounce into the fall season. Who’s ready for their reset? 👀 Book @cutlerxarlo 💋 Thank you to my sweet girl @khloekares for trusting the #silkpress process ☺️✨

Before we could build the future, we had to recognize the greatness already in front of us. 🏆

A throwback to our 2021 Truth Playmakers Awards Gala.

We brought together some of the most extraordinary young minds, entrepreneurs, artists, entertainers, and emerging leaders to celebrate something I’ve always believed:

You don’t have to wait until you’re older to make an impact.

From Skye Dakota Turner to Marquis “MJ” Hill, Kelvin Dukes, and so many other talented young people, this night was about more than trophies and recognition. It was about creating a space where young greatness could be seen, celebrated, and connected.

But Truth Playmakers was never meant to stop at recognizing greatness.

Our next chapter is about creating opportunities for young people who haven’t had their chance to shine yet.

Mentorship. Financial literacy. Career development. Community outreach. Supporting families in need.

We’re building on the foundation we started years ago, and we’re inviting people who believe in the next generation to build alongside us.

Our first fundraising goal is $25,000, and every contribution brings us closer to expanding our mission.

If you’ve ever believed that one opportunity could change someone’s life, this is your opportunity to help create one.

We celebrated their greatness. Now we’re investing in the next generation. ❤️

👑💕 Meet My Sister Queen: Khloe Thompson! 💕👑

Today, I’m shining the spotlight on my beautiful sister queen, Khloe Thompson, founder of Khloe Kares @khloekares !

One trait I truly admire about Khloe is her compassionate heart for serving others. At just nine years old, she saw a need in her community and decided to do something about it. What started as a desire to help women experiencing homelessness has grown into an incredible nonprofit that has distributed over 5,000 care bags filled with essential hygiene products.

Her commitment to service doesn’t stop there! From empowering young leaders to supporting clean water initiatives in Ghana, Khloe continues to demonstrate that you’re never too young to make a difference.

As someone who is passionate about community service, I truly admire her dedication to making an impact. Khloe is a beautiful reminder that a crown is more than something we wear; it’s an opportunity to serve, inspire, and uplift others. 👑❤️

I’m so proud to call her my sister queen and excited to see all the amazing things she will continue to accomplish!

With Love & Purpose, 💕

Our Miss Black International Ambassador Khloe Kares is taking action to tackle the water crisis in Ghana! 🇬🇭💧

Did you know that only about 40% of the population in Ghana has access to clean drinking water, and over 10% have to walk more than 30 minutes just to get it?

Through her nonprofit, Khloe Kares, she is working to change this by installing water pumps and sanitation facilities in schools, providing both students and their surrounding communities with safe, sustainable access to clean water. 💙✨
Join us in supporting her impactful mission!

While attending the MAFO Dress NYFW Brunch hosted by FashionBomb Daily CEO @clairesulmers , our reigning Queen Khloe Thompson had the opportunity to connect with the Cameroonian designer Kibonen and hear more about her journey, her heritage, and her passion for using fashion to preserve culture, empower communities and elevate African craftsmanship globally.

Known for transforming traditional Toghu and West African textiles into contemporary fashion, Kibonen Nfi has showcased her work around the world and has been featured in Vogue, Essence, Elle, Forbes Africa and more.

Thank you @lifebylesya for the opportunity to interview with you! 💖

I had the incredible honor of traveling to Belize for the first time to judge the Miss Black International Ambassador Pageant (MBIA), thanks to the amazing Antina Campbell, the Executive Director, Producer and Visionary. Joining me were the stunning and iconic Judges, April King and Tiffany Kerr.

The MBIA is more than just a pageant; it’s a powerful global movement dedicated to empowering Black women. This prestigious platform showcases beauty, intelligence, and purpose. From interviews and business pitches to dancing and modeling, every moment celebrated our Black women in the brightest light.

Belize was truly a gem of an experience! The accent, the food, and the values felt so familiar, resonating deeply with my Panamanian culture. My walks along the beach, conversations with the locals, and delicious meals at “Smokees” have stolen my heart. Belize, you’ve left a lasting impression, and I can’t wait to return soon! 💖🌊
