Khruangbin - Como me Quieres

plays a set accompanied by Drippy Eye Projections for Pitchfork Live 2018

Yo,Movement. everybody knows "Maria También," but if that's all you got from Khruangbin, you're sleepin' on 'em, deadass. "Como Me Quieres" is off Con Todo El Mundo (2018), same album as "Maria También," so you already know it's a certified vibe.

It's low-key, warm, and mad smooth. Laura Lee's bass keeps it mellow, Mark Speer's guitar just floats over the top, and DJ keeps the drums real chill. It's got that psychedelic-soul groove Khruangbin does best, with a lil' world music flavor mixed in.

It's the kinda track you throw on for a late-night scroll, a sunset drive, or just unwindin' after a long day. Nothing extra, just good energy, ya feel, Movement?.

Mars ♂ is now in Leo ♌, so if you have been working diligently, suffering, and sacrificing blood, sweat, tears &YEARS facing ya fears ; for your
art · passions · authenticity · expressionism · creativity.

The last 47 days of Mars ♂ in Cancer ♋ may have been unkind to you if you have no personal planets on
The axis of Mommy & Daddy / holding & providing.

Mars ♂ in Cancer ♋ works for those 4th House concepts of containment & faces opposition from Capricorn ♑ Saturn’s ♄ hard mountain to climb... but oh, the Sun ☉ has come out.
The Axis of The Sol & Society or #intrinsicvalue vs #extrinsicmotivation
Mars ♂ in Leo ♌ fights for the *sol* & opposes the Saturnian ♄ room of Aquarius ♒... the opposition of networking & extrinsically motivated alliances. So Mars ♂ in Leo ♌, the fire of the soldier, means the heart of the lion in the lion's den with Jupiter ♃, Psyche ⚦, & the South Node ☋ clearing karma!

The entire fire element—all three fire signs—is together being activated: Aries planet Mars ♂, Sagittarius planet Jupiter ♃ in the lion's den (Leo’s house, the 5th House). Oh, and Mars ♂ also rules Scorpio ♏, so that venom's fina be dripping off the lion's fangs for every wrong ever done in regard to their heart or art…. Leos are mostly conceived in Scorpio ♏ season and will get things squared with a lick back! Mercury is moving into Scorpio ♏ shortly too… to join Ms. Venus ♀ and Cupid himself, Eros 🪽.

The real rise up.
Forever grateful to have made this record with the iconic Magial musicians that is @beanznkornbread @khruangbeanz 13 whole years ago !? We literally cooked up from scratch over whataburger and Welch’s fruitsnacks and I wouldn’t have survived that era of heart ache with out them. Wild times. It has opened so many doors for me and served as the signature for my flavor of auteurism!
