On 19 June 2026, the South African Youth In Property Association (SAYIPA)and the @nhfc_soc National Housing Finance Corporation (NHFC)officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This marks a significant milestone in our shared commitment to youth empowerment, transformation, and inclusive growth within South Africa’s property and housing sectors.

Through this partnership, we will focus on:

- Education and capacity building through training, workshops, and skills development initiatives
- Access to finance by supporting youth-led property and housing projects and improving funding readiness
- Mentorship and networking through industry events, professional guidance, and career pathway development
- Research and policy advocacy to address barriers facing young professionals and advance sector transformation
- Innovation and entrepreneurship by supporting incubators, accelerators, and technology-driven housing solutions

This MOU represents more than a signature. It is a commitment to creating opportunities, unlocking potential, and building a more inclusive property economy for the next generation.

As SAYIPA, we extend our sincere appreciation to the leadership of NHFC for embracing this shared vision. We also wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to @patherandpather for the invaluable legal support that made this partnership possible.

A special thank you to Gugu Nkosi, whose professionalism, guidance, and presence throughout the signing ceremony played an instrumental role in bringing this landmark agreement to fruition. Your contribution does not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for your partnership.

The future of youth participation in real estate and housing is brighter than ever.

Slide 1: They say you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with. After the SAYIPA Youth Summit, I think my average just skyrocketed. 🚀

Surrounded by absolute powerhouses shaping the future of South African property: @reabetswe_makokwe , @khumo_olorato , @nkonie_m , and two other incredible women I had the honour of standing with (please tag yourselves, legends!).

Thank you for the wisdom, the energy, and the belief in young blood. 🙌

Still an intern at @enzaloestateagency. Still an NQF4 student at @braintrusttraining. But after yesterday, I know exactly which doors I'm walking through next.

Slide 2: The man who proved it's possible. My mentor, Rob T. Tsekoa. Founder of Hashtags Property Group (R1 Billion in sales), REBOSA Director, and SAPIN Investor of the Year 2024. His vision to scale to 1,000 franchises by 2030 is the kind of big thinking I aspire to.

Slide 4: My mom the woman who built Enzalo Estates Agency from the ground up. And Thato Mbha – Entrepreneur, Social Entrepreneur, Chartered Marketer SA (CM(SA)), and Master Practitioner in Real Estate (MP(RE)).

One taught me to dream. One teaches me to execute. And together, they remind me that this industry is about people, relationships, and building something that lasts.

Intern today. Builder tomorrow. Let's work. 🚀

Sincere gratitude to the SAYIPA team, our esteemed speakers, and all partners who contributed to making this vision a reality. This was more than a summit; it was a clear statement of intent for the future of our industry.

We are deeply appreciative and excited for what lies ahead. 🚀

Surrounded by visionaries, leaders and property moguls at the SAYIPA Summit. 📈🏡

Learning today, building tomorrow. The future of real estate is bright. The future of the country is in safe hands. We keep on dreaming and planning and executing. The present is bright.

It’s not about the destination but rather about the person you become on your journey towards the destination. What a fruitful and successful event.

Entrepreneurship isn’t just about individual success, it’s about empowering, supporting and opening doors for others along the way, that’s how we build stronger communities. SAYIPA continue with the empowerment 🙏🏽🏆
