Gray Mohon: A Series of Self-Portraits
Watercolor

Disparate objects and metaphors appear in my art. I contrast the insignificance of the ant with its diminutive size, the shock of the bloody fingers with ambivalence, and a bodily gouge with a relaxed wave. I play off the subtle irony of each work with serious subject matter.

From “Twelvefold: Westmont College Graduate Exhibition 2025,” on view through May 3, 2025.
