MAMBO MONGO🎵

This is a compilation of the syllabus and social dancing techniques covered over the last six months.

This choreography represents the content we have been working on in our classes, combining New York Salsa On2 fundamentals, social dancing concepts, and the signature style of Almendra & Richie.

A true representation of the A|R Method and our approach to developing dancers with strong foundations, musicality, technique, and confidence on the dance floor.

We are extremely proud of all the participants and the progress you have achieved throughout this journey.

Last night was everything we love about salsa. ❤️

Great music, social dancing, incredible performances, sangría, laughter, new connections, and a dance floor full of people sharing the same passion.

These are the nights that remind us why we dance. Not just for the steps, but for the community we build along the way.

Thank you to everyone who came, danced, cheered, and made the atmosphere so special. ✨

I am beaming with pride for my own dance journey. This year I completed my graduate diploma, its associated placements and started a new job, all while trying to manage a work/life/salsa balance. This routine was so much fun to be apart of, but I’ll admit squeezing rehearsals into the chaotic little life I’m building for myself has been tricky at times. I cannot wait to keep pushing it further for SSMC later this year, and to discover the dancer I’ll be by the end of 2026. Thank you to @almendrayrichie for this incredible choreo (and for making us work our butts off even when we were exhausted.) Thank you to @khvorov45 for being a fantastic dance partner; how fitting we finally got to perform together after being friends for so long. From the first day we were paired I knew I had nothing to worry about. And to my angel @tom__mundy for just helping me keep my head on straight these last few months.
