Jamaica isn’t just where I’m from…it’s my identity, my memories, my grounding place, my first home. 🇯🇲✨

We were just there days before Hurricane Melissa…laughing, reconnecting with family and friends, and soaking up everything familiar and comforting.

And now, seeing the devastation in some areas…it has genuinely destabilised me. It’s heavy on the mind and the heart.
Joy and trauma living side by side…that’s been the hardest part to navigate.

Still, I stand with my island.
Praying, supporting, donating, and holding my people close in every way I can. Jamaica is resilient, but that doesn’t make the pain easier to witness.

Forever my HOME. Forever my identity. 🖤💛💚
