Kicking off the year with an exciting new project for young creatives at @thewayyouthzone in Wolverhampton.

-----‐--------------------

ISSA MUSIC & SFX MAKE-UP WORKSHOPS

This two-part workshop will allow eight young creatives to explore Music Making, Music Videos, Promotion and how to take their artistry to new levels by using many techniques including the use of Special Effects Makeup.

Kupid the King will facilitate a space where young people will explore lyrics and music through fun and engaging activities.

Kupid will offer advice throughout the session about careers in the creative industries and will also signpost young creatives to organizations and groups that support creatives at any stage in their career.

SFX MAKE-UP ARTIST @itz_kiahna will share her knowledge & expertise with those especially interested in SFX MAKE-UP. Young creatives will complete a week-long take-home challenge in between the two workshops and will use an industry SFX make-up kit to create a look for a music video.

This project is supported by Creative Black Country as part of Arts Council England’s Creative People and Places National Portfolio programme.
