Just a few things I'm thankful for this Thanksgiving.
1. I'm thankful for the opportunity to get to be an on air sports anchor and that I've been able to overcome nerves and anxiety of stumbling over my script and that I'm pushed daily to be better each week.
2. I'm thankful for my Amp kiddos they push me constantly to be the best me I can be, they know I'm not perfect but they don't care.
3. I'm thankful for friends to do life with. Being a youth sponsor has brought me a group of people I can do life with, and being a part of spectrum has as well, and I've found my best friend because of those ministries.
4. I'm super thankful for my big brother, he may have moved, but he's doing bigger and better things, and I'm thankful he still puts up with me any ways.
5. As stupid as it sounds, I'm thankful to have a non functional internal pancreas, being diabetic has helped me grow as a person over the last 6 years more than anything, and although I don't always want to do what I'm supposed to because I'm scared or want to prentend nothing is wrong with me it's also the greatest blessing in my life.
6. I'm a person who wants to shoot and edit video when I graduate in a few years. And I'm thankful for opportunities that I get to be able to go and shoot sports or shoot for packages and build my skills in that, even if it doesn't happen because id also like to be a live sound person or music producer if shooting and editing doesn't work.
7/8. I'm super thankful that one of the bands I listen to invited the lead singer I grew up with and the bass player, to join them on a tour of America and I got to see them twice (almost did 3). Having the singer that was there when their career took off and the bass player back brought me back to my childhood. I can one day hope I get to meet them, and at least tell the lead singer that I grew up with, how much of a hero he is to me and that I'm chasing dreams of wanting to do sound work or produce music videos because I was influneced by the music he's produced and been part of creating.

We sorta look like we about to drop a new mixtape for youth groups. Super thankful for this squad even though we are about to be without a key piece in this group, i know that the rest of us will do our best for the students because that’s what we all do this for, getting to do life with them is just a plus.

Blessed to do life with most of these guys, but more thankful that I get to serve and lead the next generation, i believe that many of our students are going to do big things in the church and for Christ. I am just a pawn in Gods plan for all of my students, to give them a little guidance in a day and age where it’s hard to be a teen, and during some of the most formative yet hardest times in their lives. #youthgroupfam #leaders #proverbs2717group
